Get Rid Of Waste can not accept any liquid or solid hazardous waste and disposal in our dumpsters is strictly prohibited.

***If any hazardous waste is discovered in the dumpster, it will be quarantined on your property until such time as the container is made legal for disposal. All additional costs associated with clean up of hazardous and special waste plus additional days will be the customer's financial responsibility.

Q: How big are the dumpsters? 

• A: Our 10 Yard Containers are 14' long X 8' wide X 3' high.
• A: Our 15 Yard Containers are 14' long X 8' wide X 4' high.
  
• A: Our 20 Yard Containers are are 14' long 8' wide X 6' high.
• The door that swings open is 8' long. 
  

Q: Do you require a deposit?

• A: Yes. When the dumpster rental is delivered, a credit card is required and the minimum amount for the dumpster plus 1 ton will be charged to your card. After the dumpster is picked up and weighed at the transfer station, your card will be charged for any additional weight over 1 ton and for any time over 7 days. 
  

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?

• A: We accept Mastercard, Visa, and checks from local banks
  

Q: Can I over-fill the container? 

• A: No. It is illegal to transport a container that is over filled. Items in the container can not exceed the height of the container.
  

Q: Should I cover the container if it rains or snows?

• A: Yes, if you can. Snow and rain will add billable weight. Some might drain out but some items like wood or furniture will absorb moisture water and add to the weight which is billable.

• A: A hard FLAT surface is required and the truck must be able to access it for delivery and pick-up. Depending on the spaces available to place the dumpster, you may lose access to garages or entry ways. 
  

Q: Does the dumpster have a door or do I need to throw things over the side?

• A: The dumpster has a loading door which is 8' long. To use the door, it will need to be at least 8.5' away from any structure to swing open. If there is not enough room to use the door, you can throw items in over the side.
  

Q: What can I put in the container? 

• A: Almost anything: construction and remodeling  debris, furniture, appliances. Some items have extra charges. Please see our "Prices" page. 

Q: Can I put hazardous waste in the dumpster?

• A: No! The disposal of hazardous or special waste is illegal and strictly enforced.If any hazardous or special waste is found in the container, the container will be quarantined until such time as the container is made legal for disposal. All additional costs associated with hazardous and special waste will be the customer's financial responsibility.

Q: What if someone puts something in that I am not aware of?

• A: You are responsible for anything that is placed in the container. When each container is dumped, the recycle yard's heavy equipment picks through every piece to separate the contents. You will be responsible and your credit card processed for any extra charges if something undisclosed is discovered.
